Jordan Love did not arrive at Lambeau Field wearing an ordinary game day jacket.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback entered the stadium in a midnight blue leather anorak covered with more than 500 natural and lab grown diamonds from KAY Jewelers. The one of one creation, valued at $200,000, transformed Love’s September 24 tunnel walk into a crossover moment connecting fine jewelry, New York fashion and professional football.
Created by KAY Jewelers in collaboration with Public School New York, the jacket was designed by Public School founders Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne. Its foundation is vegetable tanned Italian lambskin leather, but its defining feature is the field of diamonds cascading across the chest, shoulders and back.
Love wore the statement jacket over a crisp white dress shirt and narrow black tie, pairing it with wide black trousers, black loafers and dark sunglasses. He completed the arrival look with a dark Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite duffel.
The restrained styling allowed the jacket to remain the clear focal point. Against the deep blue leather, each diamond created its own point of light as Love walked into the stadium.
More Than 500 Diamonds Meet Italian Lambskin
Rather than covering the entire surface with a continuous field of stones, the diamonds are arranged with space between them. The concentration is strongest across the upper chest, shoulder panels and back, creating the appearance of light falling across the jacket.
That effect was intentional.
Chow described the design concept as an exploration of diamonds as a natural element, with the arrangement inspired by raindrops cascading down the garment. The irregular spacing keeps the jacket from resembling traditional rhinestone covered apparel. Instead, the diamonds appear to emerge from the leather itself.
The construction presents an unusual technical challenge. Leather bends, stretches and folds as the wearer moves. More than 500 diamonds had to be incorporated without eliminating the softness and movement expected from a lambskin garment.
Every component contributes to the $200,000 valuation: the natural and lab grown diamonds, the Italian lambskin, the custom pattern, the specialized labor, the setting work and the exclusivity of a one of one design.
This is not simply a leather jacket decorated with stones. It is a piece of wearable jewelry constructed on the scale of outerwear.
From the New York Fashion Week Runway to the NFL Tunnel
Before Jordan Love wore the jacket in Green Bay, it debuted during Public School New York’s September 10 presentation at New York Fashion Week.
Chow wore the diamond covered anorak when he and Osborne appeared for their closing bow. The moment helped introduce the latest chapter of Public School, which recently returned following a seven year hiatus.
The New York label originally became known for combining tailored menswear with streetwear, sports and downtown culture. That history made Public School a natural partner for a garment designed to move between a fashion runway and an NFL stadium.
The jacket’s journey continued two weeks later when Love carried it into one of football’s most visible fashion arenas: the pregame tunnel walk.
NFL arrivals have evolved into their own form of editorial presentation. Players now use the tunnel to reveal custom fashion, jewelry, watches, luggage and personal style before taking the field. Love’s arrival gave the Public School and KAY collaboration a new audience beyond New York Fashion Week.
The jacket did not merely appear in another photoshoot. It moved from the runway onto an athlete whose name is central to the campaign surrounding it.
KAY’s “Love All In” Campaign
The collaboration forms part of KAY Jewelers’ new Love All In platform.
The campaign is designed to move the jewelry brand beyond conventional advertising and into fashion, sports and public experiences. KAY introduced the program during New York Fashion Week through the Public School collaboration and its Diamond Truth Booth, an interactive mobile installation inviting people to share personal stories about moments when they chose to “love all in.”
The activation later traveled to Green Bay, where KAY positioned the Diamond Truth Booth near Lambeau Field for the Packers’ home opener.
Love’s participation created an obvious connection between the quarterback, the campaign’s name and the message behind it. KAY reinforced that relationship through its social campaign, encouraging fans to share the moments when they made a bold move for something or someone they loved.
The brand is also allowing portions of the one of one jacket to continue beyond the runway and stadium.
Through the Love All In contest, 20 winners will each receive a diamond featured on the Public School New York x KAY jacket. The contest opened on September 10 and is scheduled to close on October 31, 2026. Winners are expected to be announced November 16.
That giveaway turns the garment into more than a celebrity loan or promotional fashion piece. Individual diamonds from the jacket will eventually become part of 20 separate stories.
The Natural and Lab Grown Diamond Mix
KAY has identified the jacket as containing both natural and lab grown diamonds.
From a design perspective, the combination allows the garment to incorporate hundreds of genuine diamonds while maintaining the dramatic visual spread needed for a large leather surface. Both categories are diamonds, sharing the same essential chemical composition and optical properties, although they have different origins and market considerations.
What makes the jacket visually successful is not simply the number of diamonds. It is how those diamonds interact with the dark, reflective lambskin.
