As a GIA Graduate Gemologist with decades of hands-on experience in jewelry design, diamond setting, and fine jewelry craftsmanship, I have seen beautiful, expensive pieces become dull, damaged, and diminished — not because of poor quality, but because of a lack of care.

Diamond Dazzler products are non-toxic and made with food grade ingredients. However, as with all cleaning products, please follow these safety guidelines every time you use them.

Diggs and Co. is not responsible for any damage, loss of stones, plating wear, metal degradation, or adverse reactions that result from use on fashion jewelry, costume jewelry, plated metals, alloy metals, or incompatible gemstones. The Difference BetweenCleaning and Polishing
This is one of the most important things to understand as a jewelry owner, and most people do not know the difference.
Cleaning removes surface buildup — the dirt, oils, lotions, hair products, sweat, and debris that accumulate on your jewelry from everyday wear. Cleaning restores the brilliance of your stones and the brightness of your metal by removing what is covering them.
This is what Diamond Dazzler does. Our products clean your jewelry and allow your diamonds and gemstones to reflect light the way they were designed to.
Metal is soft — even gold and platinum. Over time, everyday wear creates micro scratches in the surface of your metal. No matter how well you clean your jewelry, those micro scratches remain until the metal is physically polished by a professional.
Polishing removes a thin layer of metal to smooth those scratches and restore the mirror finish. Only a professional jeweler can do this properly.

Fine jewelry should be treated like fine skin. You would not put on your best outfit without taking care of your skin first. The same principle applies to your jewelry.
Miss Diggs personally cleans her fine jewelry before putting it on every single day. Brush your teeth, then clean your jewelry. That is the standard.

- 1Before putting jewelry on
Clean with Diamond Dazzler Express Solution or Deep Cleaning Solution. Wipe dry with your Microfiber Cloth.
- 2After taking jewelry off
Give each piece a quick wipe with the Microfiber Cleaning Cloth before storing.
- 3Store properly
Keep pieces separated so they do not scratch each other. Soft pouches or lined jewelry boxes are ideal. Use anti-tarnish strips for silver pieces.
- 4Weekly
Do a deeper clean using Diamond Dazzler Deep Cleaning Solution with the soft brush.
- 5Every 3 to 6 months
Take fine jewelry to your jeweler for a professional inspection and polish.

- ✖Never wear jewelry in chlorinated pools or hot tubs — chlorine degrades metals

One of the most important things you can do as a jewelry owner is understand what your piece is made of. The care routine for a solid gold diamond ring is very different from a fashion jewelry piece.
The Forever Pieces
Fine jewelry is built to last a lifetime and beyond. These pieces can withstand regular cleaning and professional polishing without degrading.
- ◆Solid gold — 10k, 14k, 18k, 24k — durable, does not tarnish, safe to clean regularly
- ◆Sterling silver — durable but can tarnish, clean regularly to prevent buildup
- ◆Platinum — extremely durable, safe for regular cleaning
- ◆Brass — lasts a very long time but tarnishes quickly and may be plated
- ◆Diamonds, moissanite, sapphires, rubies, CZ, and most hard gemstones
Handle With Care
Plated jewelry has a thin layer of gold, silver, or rhodium applied over a base metal. The plating will wear off over time regardless of what you do. Cleaning accelerates that process.
Every time you clean plated jewelry you are exposing it to elements that accelerate plating wear. Diggs and Co. is not responsible for plating wear or loss.

- ◆Understand that plated jewelry has a natural lifespan
Know the Limits
Fashion jewelry — costume jewelry, pieces with glued stones, or pieces from retailers like Claire's — is not designed to last forever. The metals are alloys, stones are often glued, and finishes can degrade with exposure to cleaning solutions.
Diamond Dazzler products are designed and recommended for fine jewelry only. If you choose to use our products on fashion jewelry, use Express Solution only — spray very lightly and wipe off immediately. Use at your own risk.
Special Caution
Swarovski crystals are beautiful but they are typically set in alloy metals with very little structural integrity compared to fine jewelry metals.

Storing Your Jewelry Properly
How you store your jewelry is just as important as how you clean it. Improper storage causes scratches, tangling, tarnish, and lost stones.

- ◆Keep silver in anti-tarnish bags or with anti-tarnish strips to slow tarnishing
- ◆Avoid storing jewelry in bathrooms — humidity accelerates tarnish and degrades metals

Do not wait for your scheduled visit if you notice any of the following:
- ⚠A stone feels loose or wiggles when you touch it — stop wearing immediately
- ⚠A prong is bent, broken, or missing
- ⚠A clasp is not closing or locking properly
- ⚠A chain link is stretched, bent, or about to break
- ⚠You can see where a stone was and it is now missing
- ⚠The setting looks bent or the shape of the piece has changed
Insure Your Fine Jewelry
If you own fine jewelry — especially engagement rings, diamond pieces, or high value items — please insure them. Jewelry insurance is affordable and protects your investment against loss, theft, and damage. Ask your jeweler or homeowner's insurance provider about jewelry rider policies. A professional appraisal from your jeweler is required for most policies and is a smart investment.

Not all gemstones can be cleaned the same way. Diamond Dazzler products are safe for a wide range of hard, non-porous gemstones. Always refer to this guide before cleaning any piece.

These stones are porous or delicate and can be damaged, discolored, or degraded by cleaning solutions. When in doubt, consult your jeweler before cleaning.
If you own large hip hop pieces or micro pave jewelry, understand that loose stones are a part of owning this type of jewelry — not a sign of poor quality. Micro pave settings hold tiny diamonds in place with very small prongs, and over time, with wear and movement, stones will work loose. This is the nature of the setting style, not a defect.
- ◆Inspect your pave pieces regularly for loose stones before cleaning
- ◆Have your jeweler check and tighten prongs every 3 to 6 months
- ◆Clean gently — do not use aggressive scrubbing on pave settings
- ◆If you notice a loose stone, stop wearing the piece until repaired
Your Diamond Dazzler Products
Diamond Dazzler products are developed by a GIA Graduate Gemologist using a pH balanced, non-toxic, food grade formula. Think of our solutions as a surfactant treatment — they clean the surface and enhance the ability of your stones to reflect and refract light beautifully, making them shine the way they did the day you bought them.
Deep Cleaning Solution
- 1Rinse or soak your jewelry in warm water for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- 2Apply 1 to 2 drops directly onto your item. A little goes a long way.
- 3Gently scrub using a soft brush. Work into crevices and settings.
- 4Rinse thoroughly under warm running water until completely clean.
- 5Dry immediately with a blow dryer or soft towel to prevent water spots.
- 6Finish with a final wipe using your Microfiber Cleaning Cloth.
Note: Not recommended on plated jewelry, fashion jewelry, or alloy metals. For sensitive stones see gemstone guide. Test on inconspicuous area before first full use.
Express Solution
- 1Hold bottle 3 to 4 inches away from your item.
- 2Apply a light fine mist. A thin layer is all you need — do not oversaturate.
- 3Immediately wipe clean with your Microfiber Cleaning Cloth.
- 4No rinsing. No water. Instant shine.
Note: NOT for use on grillz. Use with caution on plated, fashion, or Swarovski jewelry — spray lightly and wipe off immediately.
Use both together for best results — Deep Cleaning for your weekly deep clean, Express for your daily quick clean before you put your jewelry on.

The Complete Grillz Care Guide
Grillz require their own level of care. Whether you have solid gold grillz, diamond set grillz, or plated grillz, what lives inside your grill after wear is something most people do not want to think about — but need to.
WHAT BUILDS UP IN YOUR GRILLZ
Even if you never eat with your grillz in, buildup is inevitable. Your mouth is a living environment full of bacteria, saliva, and mucus. Every time you wear your grillz, those elements coat every surface — front, back, and especially behind your stones.
- ◆Saliva dries on the metal and stones creating a film of buildup after every wear
- ◆Mucus coats the inside surfaces and dries once the grill is removed
- ◆Food debris in your teeth transfers to your grillz even without eating with them in
- ◆If you eat with your grillz in, impacted food gets packed into crevices immediately
- ◆Behind diamond settings, buildup accumulates fast and is almost impossible to see

Diamond Dazzler Grillz Bath
- 1Dissolve one packet in one cup of warm water.
- 2Place your grillz into the solution.
- 3Soak for 15 to 30 minutes.
- 4For heavily soiled grillz, soak overnight. Repeat a second night if needed.
- 5Rinse thoroughly with running water.
- 6Immediately follow up with Diamond Dazzler Deep Cleaning Solution and a soft brush.
- 7Finish with a wipe using your Microfiber Cleaning Cloth.
Note: The Grillz Bath removes food, debris, bacteria, and saliva buildup. The Deep Cleaning Solution that follows treats your diamonds and metal to restore brilliance. These two products work as a complete system.
